About
Morten Hannesbo
The most important asset in any company are its people. Throughout my career, I have shown a deep passion for driving business growth by empowering employees to achieve their full potential in the workplace. However, it also takes hard work, detailed planning and constant improvement to deliver outstanding results over time. Building a strong emphasis on these aspects is where my experience and expertise lies.
This expertise was built through over 25 years of C-level experience in both multinational and family-owned companies in Germany, UK, France, Switzerland, Sweden and my native Denmark. Working at large worldwide players like Mærsk, Scott, Ford, Toyota and Volkswagen as well as board responsibilities at smaller companies such as the local forklift company Lindells in Sweden and the Bellevue Theater in Copenhagen has given me insights into a broad variety of working cultures. These insights helped me develop a successful career in my most recent position as CEO of AMAG Group in Switzerland for the last 12 years.
In 2023 I started hosting the YouTube and Podcast channel Mobility Insider. Here I share my automotive – and mobility experience as well as my views on new mobility solutions and exciting cars (primarily BEVs and Plug-in-hybrids).
In 2022 I joined Boyden Executive Search Switzerland as a board member and shareholder. I work across all sectors and industries and am part of the Automotive sub-sector of Boyden Europe.
Outside the office you are most likely to find me cycling through many of Switzerland’s beautiful landscapes, enjoying time with my family, or driving my 50-year old Porsche 911T. I also hold a strong interest in photography, allowing me to capture these moments and experiences.
I am based in Zug, Switzerland.
